It’s no wonder there were so many complaints the movie didn’t go on as planned. It takes a lot of energy to get into a film like that. I imagine a director like Anthony Minghella probably would have liked the film to be more like a movie, but that doesn’t mean it was. After all, a movie is supposed to be fun. A movie, for example, is supposed to be a blast to sit through.
