Some people are born with a restlessness in their lives, and others have an aversion to it. It’s a great feeling. I am one of the latter. I was raised in a very quiet, serene environment. My parents gave me a very structured family life. I was in a relatively small group of friends, and my parents did not push me to become social. I learned how to be myself, and that was the best part.
When I first starting working, I wanted to do everything by myself, so I was a bit of a perfectionist. I have a very high tolerance for failure, and a sense of self-worth that is very high. I felt isolated and unneeded when I first started working, and I became very depressed.
I think I needed to find an outlet for that energy, but I also think I had a big chunk of it. I had a very big chunk because I was always working on something. I had no family, and no one to confide in. I was very lonely and felt like I had no purpose, and I just wanted to feel useful. I felt like I wasn’t good enough, so I was working on something to fill that void, and it worked.
I think you’re right. I need to find a balance. There are only so many hours in a day, so I need to do as much as I can. I need a purpose, I need to feel important and I need to feel like I’m doing something for myself. I needed something to balance all of these things.
I’m sure youve also felt this, but you also need to find a balance between your self-esteem and your self-worth. When you lack self-worth, you don’t have an opinion on anything and you feel like you’re worthless, but you aren’t worthless just because you lack self-esteem. You can’t be worthless and self-esteem at the same time. Without self-esteem, you don’t have any opinion on anything.
My goal in this next part is to help you find a balance between your self-esteem and your self-worth. I know you can’t have both at once and you need to find a balance. But to find that balance, you need to look deeper into what you think is important in life. I know im making this sound cliche, but at the end of the day, youre gonna find a balance between your self-esteem and your self-worth.

But happiness is not just about being the best and the bestest. Happiness is about being the best and the bestest.
