If your new home will be facing east, west, north, or south, you may want to look at the windows on the sides of your house. You may not like the way the light will reflect off of them or how bright they can be, but if you are facing north or south, the light will be easier to use. The window on the south side of your home will also be brighter than that on the north, so it is a good choice for you.
I really like the windows on the south side of my home. The best part is they are on the south side. It makes me feel like the sun is shining through the windows on that side of my home. Of course, I am a southern girl.

The other way this is a good way is to just use the trees and make them a bit darker (not too dark though, just enough to be noticeable). I would also like the trees to be a bit more colorful and use a bit more realistic foliage. I think it would look a little bit better.
